I'd say one of my current favs and places I get my work done is currently wicked ink at penrith. Nice clean shop, good attitude, and above all, quality work. I have work done there by 2 of the people and one no longer works there, she moved on, that's life, and I have to say I will be going back again. The piece I have had done on my lower right arm was one peice that many people did comment on, and one of the tat comp judges did say was quite a good piece, but I missed judging on it due to be to bloody busy to get it in to be registered.

Check em out at www.wickedink.com.au and they also had a stall at the expo. I am hoping to book back in for some more work soon.

Also mischief moon in Talylor square in Sydney was another of my fav places and I would still travel there to get work if mess was still working there.

I really would love to say where I get my tattoo's done but was asked not to say.
So I will go by that.
But I have been tattooed by Lords Of Ink in Adelaide. It is in the suburb's and if I spell this wrong sorry in advance.
In Salbury East I think it is but they have got a site and well worth a look at.
Good and clean and this is all we really want in the end.

And that freehand tatt is great.

If you don't mind me asking bushranger, why did they ask you not to say where you got your last work done? It sounds strange to me, as word of mouth is one of the best and worst ways to get advertised. I say the best because people will praise good work, and I say one of the worst as they tell everyone not to go to a crap place.

It does seem that you were happy with the work, so I believe you would say good things about it.

I'm just curious as to why they wouldn't like to get a mention. Understand if you don't want to say anymore as well.

As it works out our tattooist is booked well in advance as it is.
The studio gets interstate people coming to it, now so doesn't need more work as it stands.
I know I have been bumped off as an interstater got their dates wrong.
The tattooist rand and asked if it was okay by me to be bumped back a week or so.
I was fine with it as I knew I was still getting done either way.
But this is the whole story behind it.
As a tattooist and a preson that has asked me not to mention them, I have to abid by their rule.
But I know when we go to get a tattoo there always seem's to be a place within a week or two.
As other go there have to wait up to 2 months to get in.
This isn't a tattooist being a bighead, just a tattooist booked out all the time.
I hope this has clear that up a little.

Mate, I fully understand. That is like wicked ink at penrith. It is like my local tat shop, as it is only say 20-30 mins from me, but to get in is not as simple as walk in and wait 5 mins. And this is a shop that has about 6 quality artists working. I have had to wait for a booking for about a month at times, and that is only for a 2 hour booking, and most of my work is usually around 4-6 hours worth.

In between me and wicked ink is easily about 5 studios that I know of that I could get in pretty much that day if not walk in and be ready in 5 mins, if I wanted to, but I want quality, and I don't mind the wait.

Our's is a 1 person operation and is quite well known around the tattoo world.
And he is a one hour sitting at a time but he has gone as long as an hour and a half.
But it is all quality work and I don't mind waiting for it seeing he is one of the top tattooist.
I will be getting more work on my goanna next and I can't wait to see it all finished.
It will be close to a half sleeve when done.

TAT2IT in Carlton NSW... www.tat2it.com.au  I thought what he did for me was special but I saw a sleeve that he had done. BRILLIANT. Hi Black and Grey work is awesome.  Getting booked out quickly though. He has about a 6 month wait. Well worth it.
